Roland Lee Plein Air Painting
Workshop in
Zion National Park - A Mini-Documentary
In conjunction with
the Zion National Park Centennial celebration, the
St. George Art Museum hosted a major exhibition
of works by living and deceased artists who painted
Zion National Park. Roland's work was included in
the exhibit. Emmy award winning film maker Phil
Tuckett supervised a film crew from the Dixie State
College Film department who documented the event
and filmed Roland's painting workshop in Zion National
Park. This segment was developed into a short mini-documentary
which was shown during his 2010 solo show in the
Human History Museum at Zion National Park.
