2010 Landscape Art Class - "Painting Light and Shadow in the Landscape"
This workshop was organized by Lillie Jones and the Sevier Valley
artists group. It was held at the "Staples Art Center" in
Elsinore Utah.

Sue Ann Brady made this wonderful house available for an art center.
A number of local artists participate in managing the gallery and space.

The Art center has a very nice classroom area with good north light
windows.

Roland Lee demonstrated his method of working by taking a photo of an
old barn, and developing a new painting through the use of value sketches
and a good dose of imagination. |
After getting a good portion of the demonstration painting done in class
Roland completed the rest of the painting back in the studio. |
