Details:

This Pencil drawing was done on location in the Netherlands. The Drawing size is about 5 inches wide by 8 inches tall, sketched with a 6B pencil in a hardbound sketchbook by Watson Guptill. I use the sketchbook as a personal reference journal for future paintings. The drawings are not for sale but individual

Story:

My thought when I saw these stiffly starched lace hats, is that it would indeed be a challenge to keep them on in the wind.
