Litho prints are produced using the traditional high speed lithographic printing process used to create high-quality books and posters. Each print is individually hand-signed and numbered by the artist in a specific limited edtition. When the prints are sold out, no more will be printed. Although litho reproductions are printed on acid free cover-weight paper stock, the inks are more subject to fading than giclee prints. Therefore, care should be taken to display them away from direct sunlight or intense flourescent lighting. All litho prints are in stock ready for immediate shipping. Framed prints include double matting and archival UV protective glass.
Story:
The St. George LDS Temple was completed by early Mormon pioneers over a 5 1/2 year period. Dedicated on April 6, 1877, it stands today as a monument to the tenacity and faithfulness of the pioneers who settled St. George.
This painting is a historical re-creation of the early days in St. George. In the late 1800's, the temple was located far south of town. An old meat wagon was converted with wooden benches and canvas sides to haul the temple workers to the temple each day.
