Details:
This Pencil drawing was done on location in the Netherlands. The Drawing size is about 5 inches wide by 8 inches tall, sketched with a 6B pencil in a hardbound sketchbook by Watson Guptill. I use the sketchbook as a personal reference journal for future paintings. The drawings are not for sale but individual requests may be granted for private non-commercial use.
Story:
Although Volendam is a big tourist area, with its accessibility by coach from Amsterdam, I still enjoyed the little bay with its steady traffic of sailboats and commercial vessels.
