Details:
This Pencil drawing was done on location in the Netherlands. The Drawing size is about 5 inches wide by 8 inches tall, sketched with a 6B pencil in a hardbound sketchbook by Watson Guptill. I use the sketchbook as a personal reference journal for future paintings. The drawings are not for sale but individual requests may be granted for private non-commercial use.
Story:
This nice sailboat was backed neatly into a narrow spot at the dock. I was impressed at how well the sailors could maneuver the boats into such narrow spots. Holland has been cultivating good sailors for many centuries and today they still pride themselves on their seamanship.
