Penshurst Place Pencil Drawing

Details:

This Pencil drawing was done on location in the kent area of Great Britain. The Drawing size is about 8 inches wide by 5 1/2 inches tall, sketched with a 6B pencil in a hardbound Surrey Sketchbook purchased at Heaton Cooper Studio in Grasmere Cumbria England.

Story:
During our visit to England in 2008, my wife and i enjoyed spending about a week in Kent where we went "castle-hopping." Although Penshurst Place isn't really a castle, you could have fooled us. We especially enjoyed the huge garden which was separated into individual private gardens. It was a very nice place to relax and sketch.
