This Pencil drawing was done on location in the kent area of Great Britain. The Drawing size is about 8 inches wide by 5 1/2 inches tall, sketched with a 6B pencil in a hardbound Surrey Sketchbook purchased at Heaton Cooper Studio in Grasmere Cumbria England. The drawings are not for sale.
Story:
The countryside in Kent consisted of rolling green fields and lush forests. I loved hiking the many footpaths that crisscrossed the farmlands. Oak trees were the prevalent specimens and I became familiar with the gnarly trunks and twisted branches as they framed the pastoral scenes.
