Details:
This Pencil drawing was done on location in the Netherlands. The Drawing size is about 5 inches wide by 8 inches tall, sketched with a 6B pencil in a hardbound sketchbook by Watson Guptill. I use the sketchbook as a personal reference journal for future paintings. The drawings are not for sale but individual requests may be granted for private non-commercial use.
Story:
We were told that cooking in the village was often done in small brick cooking houses set away from the main house. This was a precaution against the thatched roofs catching fire on the main houses.
