Story:
Kayenta is a desert community near St. George Utah at the base of striking red cliffs. It is one of my favorite places to wander and just become a part of the desert. Quail, coyotes, owls, rabbits, snakes, lizards, and people all live together and get along fine. This Joshua tree is part of the Desert Garden of Barbara Aikens who has mastered the art of desert gardening. She has one of the finest cactus gardens anywhere with literally hundreds of specimens.
