Hever Hotel in the Weald of Kent

Pencil Sketchbook Study of the hever Hotel Tower

Details:

This Pencil drawing was done on location in the Kent area of Great Britain. The Drawing size is about 8 inches wide by 5 1/2 inches tall, sketched with a 6B pencil in a hardbound Surrey Sketchbook purchased at Heaton Cooper Studio in Grasmere Cumbria England.

Story:
We were fortunate to stay in this lovely Kent hotel compliments of my son Jim and his wife Barbara who gave us a timeshare week here during summer 2008. It turned out to be a great base of operations for seeing the Kent countryside. The adjacent golf course was the most magnificent I've ever seen dotted with lakes and wildlife. I didn't golf but I could see why people drove down from London to stay here.
