Details:

Pencil drawing from a sketchbook kept on location during Sons of the Utah Pioneers Church History tour in July 2005. Drawing size is 5 1/2 inches by 8 inches, sketched with a 6B pencil in a hardbound sketchbook made by Watson-Guptill.
Drawings are not for sale.

Story:

Many of the early saints came to Kirtland via the Erie Canal, then by boat down Lake Erie to Fairport Harbor. From there, it was a few hours buggy ride to Kirtland. Many early missionaries mention leaving from this harbor in their journals.
