Details:
This Pencil drawing was done on location in the Netherlands. The Drawing size is about 5 inches wide by 8 inches tall, sketched with a 6B pencil in a hardbound sketchbook by Watson Guptill. I use the sketchbook as a personal reference journal for future paintings. The drawings are not for sale but individual requests may be granted for private non-commercial use.
Story:
We visited the Royal Palace Het Loo in Apeldoorn Netherlands and were quite unprepared for the overall size and grandeur of it. I started sketching this stately building when we arrived only to find out this was just the coach house. The palace was further up the road. Although the exterior of the Palace Het Loo is simple, the interior is magnificent. My favorite part was the excellent display of original historical paintings.
