Story:
Big Bend is the spot where the Virgin River winds around the Organ, at the base of Angel's Landing and runs past the base of The Great White Throne. It's a regular stop on the Shuttle run, but few people spend much time there. I love walk along the river when the afternoon sun streaks over the Organ, and throws a big shadow across the valley floor. This painting represents one of those times.
