I am enjoying studying the reflections of the brilliant Lake Powell cliffs in the water. This is a little side canyon in the upper lake. I chose to darken the sky to make the contrst of warm cliffs and cool water even more dramatic. Most of the painting demonstration below deals with my painting technique for smooth water.
