In the Footsteps of Thomas Moran -
Invitational Plein Air Paint-out in Zion National Park

Roland Lee was invited along with 20 other landscape artists to paint in the Footsteps of Thomas Moran April 20-25, 2009 in Zion National Park. The group will follow the trail of renowned artist Thomas' Moran who explored Zion in the late 1800's. Each artist will make his/her own interpretations of the same places described in Moran's sketchbook, which will be on display at the Human HIstory Museum in Zion National Park during the paint out. A wet painting exhibit and sale will be held at the Bingham Gallery 5pm Friday April 24 at Carmel Junction in East Zion.
