A signature member of the National Watercolor Society, Roland Lee has become internationally recognized for his transparent watercolor paintings of the Southwest, rural America, and European landscapes. His watercolor landscape paintings are now in over 1,000 museum, university, corporate, and private art collections throughout the world. Roland Lee is also a popular watercolor workshop instructor and enjoys sharing his watercolor painting techniques through step by step tutorials and free painting lessons. Mesa Verde National Park
Artist in Residence Roland Lee spent two weeks in October as "Artist in Residence" at Mesa Verde National Park. While living in the guest "hogan" Roland explored the cliff dwellings and did over 50 on-location sketches and 12 finished paintings. He donated a painting to the permanent collection after his visit. October 3 - 16, 2011.
