Roland's popular exhibit "Zion Canyonscapes" which was on display at the Zion National Park Museum will continue through September at the Mission Gallery in St. George UT featuring new original studio paintings, plein air paintings, and giclees of Zion National Park.

5-Day Watercolor Painting Workshop "Canyons, Deserts, and Old West Landscapes"

We will focus on landscapes of the southwest deserts and canyon country with an emphasis on how the strong western sunlight and reflected light affects the way we see. We will explore techniques for painting rocks, sand, and cliffs plus textural effects for weathered old barns and wagons. In addition we'll learn how to paint rich dramatic skies in less than five minutes!
